We are dedicated to serving prospective, beginner and experienced entrepreneurs! Our students master the arts of launching, growing, leading and harvesting entrepreneurial ventures! If you are an entrepreneur, or you want to be an entrepreneur, or you want to be a serial entrepreneur, then you are in the right place! If you want to climb a corporate ladder, then you are not! This is the home of Dreamers, and our Dreamers are Doers! Our mission is to inculcate entrepreneurial vision: the ability to see what is not there! And, to couple that vision with entrepreneurial will: the ability to translate the vision into reality!

Have you had ideas about ventures that you think would be successful, or which you would like to launch? We have observed that in talking with people you will find that almost everyone has dreams of a venture; dreams of pursuing the entrepreneurial life. However, very few people act on their dreams; and we know why they fail to act! It is fear! Fear of failure; fear of the unknown; fear of the uncertainty; fear; fear; fear! We also know the cure for fear! It is knowledge! The principles of commercialization of an idea or concept are absolutely teachable! One hears discussions about entrepreneurial passion, and people frequently get that passion confused with knowledge, when they make disparaging comments about the ability to teach entrepreneurship. One may not be able to teach passion, but experienced scholar-entrepreneurs can certainly teach the process of commercialization. As for passion, it is really hard to be passionate about something that one does not understand, and even more difficult to develop that passion about something when fraught with fear! When we destroy the fear with knowledge, when we replace the uncertainty with confidence, we see the passion bloom and flower!

Entrepreneurs see things that are not there; and they have the self confidence to know that they can turn those visions into reality! They are Dreamers; yes! And, they are Doers; yes! And, they are passionate about turning dreams into reality! We have lived that dream! We have turned our own dreams into reality and we have helped hundreds of others do the same thing!

We intend to make Carland College the premiere source of entrepreneurship education on the planet! We will not be sidetracked by trying to be all things to all people! We will concentrate on what we do better than anyone else! No other college or university has such an original curriculum; no other college or university has such an experienced faculty of scholar-entrepreneurs; and, no other college or university has such an unfettered perspective of how one turns Dreamers into Doers! We are unique, and our students are unique! Entrepreneurs do not fit traditional molds! They have unique perspectives and they need a unique educational experience to couple their intuition with pragmatic skills! That is what Carland College, the college for Entrepreneurs, does!
