Certificate Programs
Certificate programs are designed for students who are not currently interested in a degree, but who want to master entrepreneurship skills. The Certificate in Entrepreneurship is designed for prospective and beginner entrepreneurs and the Advanced Certificate is designed for more experienced entrepreneurs.
Entrance Requirements
Applicants must present evidence of potential for success in the chosen program. The Evaluation Committee considers experience, education, the application essay, and performance during the interview, to determine whether it feels that a candidate can succeed in the program.
A Certificate student is non-degree seeking. If a student decides to pursue a degree at a later date, he or she must meet entrance requirements in place at the time of the request for a change of status. If accepted into a degree program, the student will be able to retain credit for courses successfully completed in the Certificate program.

The Certificate programs require the satisfactory completion of six courses, 18 semester hours of work, at Carland College. Transfer credits will not normally be accepted.
